FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Grand Universe to house an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Innovation Center
Westfield, Indiana – Grand Universe, a world-class center for science and space exploration, is excited to announce plans of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Innovative Center that will be strategically located on the campus.
A unique learning opportunity
Due to the quick evolvement of AI, Greg McCauley, CEO of Grand Universe, wanted to ensure there was a space for students to learn more about its advancements. The Grand Universe AI Innovation Center will offer students a unique experience to explore the technical advancements, ethical considerations, and responsible deployments of Artificial Intelligence.
Strategic partnership with Purdue University
Purdue University’s Center for Advancing the Teaching and Learning of STEM (CATALYST) has partnered with Grand Universe to provide formal educational courses that hold to both state and national standards for STEM science.
One area of emphasis in these courses will revolve around AI. From coding projects to real-world applications, the curriculum is designed to provide a well-rounded outlook on Artificial Intelligence through theoretical and practical training.
Beyond the classroom
For those looking to dive deeper into the world of AI, there will be a wide variety of hands-on opportunities to learn more about the technology. For instance, guests will be able to collaborate with local farmers, using cutting-edge agriscience instruments with commercial drones to collect data later reported on by Artificial Intelligence.
A multitude of advanced computer science workshops and bootcamps will also be available. Web and mobile application development, machine learning, AI, ChatGPT, virtual reality, augmented reality, Python, and SQL are just a few topics addressed during these extra learning opportunities.
